Kendo Seminar 3/26 and 27, 2005 with Shikai Sensei

At the time of the seminar, Masashi Shikai, 7th dan kyoshi, was President of the Southern California Kendo Federation and Head Instructor of Chuo Kendo Dojo in Los Angeles, California. In 2000, Shikai Sensei was selected by the International Kendo Federation to be the U.S. referee to the 11th World Kendo Championships in Santa Clara, California, and in 2003, to the 12th World Kendo Championships in Glasgow, Scotland. He was the Manager of the U.S. Team at the 13th World Kendo Championships (Taipei, Taiwan, 2006), at which the US placed first in the team competition.
